Based in Eveleigh and reporting to the Engineering Director, you’ll be:

• Designing and implementing backend APIs and microservices to run in AWS
• Driving best practice in software design patterns & principles, coding techniques & standards.
• Building and improving the quality of our platform
• Contributing to our automated test coverage
• Collaborating in an agile/scrum team to deliver on quarterly goals
• Continuously challenging and improving effective and efficient standards and procedures
• Taking initiative and always looking for ways in which you can improve our product, processes and team

You have:

• Proven experience in building scalable & performant microservices & APIs in Microsoft .NET Core & .NET Framework (C#)
• Experience in building & running containerised apps using Docker
• Understanding of infrastructure to achieve desired resilience, stability and performance. (AWS preferable)
• Experience with technologies such as Elastic Search, Redis, SQL Server
• Experience with various types of software testing, from unit testing, integration tests to performance and security testing.
• Good understanding of TDD and code coverage.
• Understanding of Git concepts as well as basic development workflow (pull requests, git flow etc.)
• Understanding of build tools and values DevOps culture
• Experience building products that customers love to use
• The ability to be highly collaborative and thrive in a team environment
