The Operations Team

We are the backbone, the ones on the ground, those who ensure the smooth flow of bicycles in and out of the warehouse; we encapsulate the company’s 3 core values of operations by ensuring that every bicycle we put out is reliable, convenient, and safe.

As an Operations Intern, you will be responsible for one of the three pillars of Operations:

Patrollers:

• Recruitment, training and overall on-the-ground performance

• Improvement of current processes and standard operating procedures using data analytics

• Collaboration across different departments to handle any logistical or administrative needs

• Stocktaking in collaboration with the Logistics team

• Scheduling of work for Patrollers to ensure steady collection volume of bikes 

• Ensuring reliability of bicycle services across our operational towns in Singapore

• Any other related ad-hoc assignments

Logistics (Planning):

• Analysing and collecting data to create deployment plans for our bicycles

• Identifying, measuring and tracking deployment sites

• Collaboration with Patrolling team for deployment and collection

• Formulating, tracking and altering KPI if necessary

• Ensuring the towns we operate in have a steady supply of bicycles to maintain the convenience of our services

• Any other related ad-hoc assignments

Warehouse Team: 

• Analysing daily warehouse targets and output using data analytics and modelling tools

• Formulating solutions to improve current warehouse SOPs

• Forecasting warehouse turnover numbers based on past data to plan for future operations

• Developing and overseeing the onboarding and training of our warehouse team

• Any other related ad-hoc assignments

Requirements:

• Current University student

• Proactive, resourceful, and enjoy hands-on work

• Have brilliant ideas, and will not shy away from making your voice heard

• Quick on your feet and able to come up with ideas on the fly

• Basic knowledge of modelling tools and data analytics

• Proficient in Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs, etc.) and Microsoft Excel

• Good verbal and written communication skills

Salary: $800 per month
