SGS ISL have an exciting opportunity for a QC Coordinator to join their expanding team. The primary responsibility of this position is to Manage and Coordinate the organisational unit to meet customer needs. Drive empowerment and accountability through leadership and coaching. Facilitate two way communication between the customer and unit on testing related issues. You will be reporting to the QC Team Lead.
Job Description
Build a high performing team with a focus on key OSSCE metrics and processes delivering reliable execution
Ensure correct prioritisation is assigned to the testing of Release, Stability & Reference Standard batches including non-routine samples and aligned with customer requirements
Ensure effective management of resources within ISL and the Organisational Unit to meet customer needs & revenue targets
Drive empowerment, accountability and flexibility within the Unit through leadership, coaching and performance management
Effective communication on team & individuals performance and manage improvement plans where applicable
Enable development of interpersonal and technical skills for Unit Team Members along with the QA Facilitator
Ensure oversight through management walk-downs and improve compliance in Quality, Safety & 5S in the Unit
Communicate on key metrics and other relevant information within the Unit and to other stakeholders
Ensure business owner duties are completed in a timely manner
Drive increased efficiency in the business through problem solving and innovation
Qualifications
Science graduate degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy or equivalent education and have a minimum of 3 years experience in analytical testing
