Organisational Overview:
Share My Super is an organisation with the mission to address inequality in New Zealand through an innovative channel – helping generous Kiwis to donate part or all of their superannuation to a selected cohort of charities that are targeting inequality and child poverty nationwide.
Research suggests that 1% of superannuation is not claimed annually and that 2-3% of recipients don’t need it to live a comfortable life. Given that almost $11B is given out per annum, securing even 1% of this amount would equate to circa $110M for charities.
Share My Super is dedicated to helping New Zealanders in need, which requires increased awareness of the profound benefits that can be achieved through these donations. Share My Super is working closely with media & PR agencies to refine and execute television and digital campaigns to connect their target market of current and soon-to-be superannuants.
The Role:
The CEO, in conjunction with the Chair and Board, will deliver on the full potential of this unique charity. This will include developing opportunities to give and contribute through collaboration with banks, asset management firms, and retirement villages to capitalise on vehicles and channels that can further enhance the existing donation ecosystem of Share My Super.
