In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, a number of our departments across the province will require additional staffing to support our fight against COVID-19; while continuing to provide the best possible health care services to Manitobans.
Manitoba recognizes the hard work and dedication of our front-line heath care providers and we are looking for additional experienced health care providers to offer support during these unprecedented and challenging times, to help provincial efforts to prevent and control the spread of COVID-19.
Position Overview
Enters and/or verifies data from timesheets received from sites to which COVID19 Resource Pool are assigned and enters into SAP to ensure on time payroll payments with less than 1% error rate. Must adhere to the timelines and deadlines for time entry and payroll cutoffs. Responsibilities include:
Processes high volume of data entry into the SAP Payroll System from timesheets submitted by sites to which COVID19 Resource Pool are deployed.
Manages the COVID 19 Timekeeping email box for time entries and inquiries.
Follows up with sites to ensure timesheets have been received.
Maintains accurate order of payroll timesheets from each site.
Ensures that all timesheets submitted are keyed directly into SAP or onto a master file for a load into SAP.
Assists sites with correct time entry.
Processes all correction notices in order of the posted deadlines for payroll.
Processes various types of keying jobs in SAP as required.
Identifies any unique problems that may arise with key capturing that may require further investigation.
Identify areas for improvement with timekeeping and correction notice process and works with respective areas to incorporate efficiencies.
Education/Experience
Complete high school education, Manitoba standards, required.
Experience working with Microsoft Office applications including excellent skills in Word, Excel and Outlook.
Experience in working with high volumes of data entry required.
Experience working in SAP preferred.
Some previous experience as a Data Entry Technician required.
Typing speed minimum of 55 w.p.m.
Demonstrated attention to detail required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
