This newly created one-year post represents an exciting development in the provision of undergraduate teaching in Child Health, as part of the University of Sheffield’s MBChB degree. The post-holder an ST4 – ST8 paediatric trainee on a one year ‘out of programme experience’ will be central to the provision of the clinical teaching required by the undergraduates undertaking their 6-week rotation in Child Health at Sheffield Children’s NHS FT.
The post holder’s primary duties will be to: teach, mentor and assess students, and play a significant contributory role in the evolution and running of the Child Health course. The primary responsibility of the Fellow will be the delivery and coordination of the teaching of the students allocated to SC(NHS)FT for their clinical placement.
