The Corp Technical Solutions Engineer – Power Platform, in concert with the sales team, takes a consultative approach to understand customers’ business and technology needs and develops customer-specific solution architectures, based on existing SHI Power Platform and Data Analytics offerings/capabilities. These solutions may also contain solutions/components from other SHI practice areas such as Network, Security and Cloud.
The Technical Solutions Engineer – Power Platform will report to the Regional Solutions Manager.
This position is a remote position however required to reside in the state of (State) to support business needs as determined by SHI management.

Be the Microsoft Power Platform subject matter expert on pre-sales technical calls
Assist Microsoft sales teams increase Power Platform billed revenue, CSP revenue, and services opportunities
Demonstrate and communicate how the Power Platform integrates with and enhances O365/M365, Teams, Dynamics, Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, and other technologies
Engineer customer Proof of Concepts (POCs) or Demos to illustrate how products address customer needs
Communicate abstract technical concepts such as Common Data Model and Low Code Apps into simple terms which meet customer business requirements and ROI
Interpret customer business requirements and provide technically sound actionable advice on next steps (assessments, platforms, services)
Assist sales with completing and maintaining enhanced technology profiles
Lead Webinars within areas of expertise
Support Services Sales by understanding SHI’s services capabilities, identification of services opportunities, technical requirements gathering, and gathering key elements to develop SOWs
Identify and understand trends for new services which should be considered for our portfolio, and incubate new services as appropriate by working with professional services teams
Develop collateral that supports outcome/solution-driven go-to-market activities
Develop and deliver training and collateral for internal technical and sales teams such as briefings, workshops, labs, and demo scripts
Demonstrate technology and solutions through hands-on virtual/physical installation, configuration, and administration with customers and partners.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Advanced knowledge of the Power Platform suite of products with the ability to compare and contrast with competing products
Deep understanding of best practices within the Power Platform community
Understanding of governance and decision processes
Minimum two years technical experience
Advanced technical experience working with Power Platform, O365/M365, Teams, Dynamics, Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, and other technologies
Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals (or higher) required upon application
Ability to communicate complex subject matter – both verbally and written
Listening skills with the ability to accurately receive and interpret information
Ability self-manage, take initiative and be resourceful
Ability to show initiative without much management follow up/direction
Ability to work effectively within all levels of an organization, both internally and externally
Strong problem solving, organizational, and time management skills
Detail oriented with the ability to multitask and complete tasks with efficiency and accuracy
Ability to obtain technical certifications as required by the position and management
Ability to develop new systems or work to update or improve current systems
Excellent writing skills to produce written reports of recommendations, metrics, project management, process and technical documentation
High level reading comprehension to examine manuals and technical reports to keep up with advances and implement new technology that meets employers’ or clients’ needs
Ability to take direction and follow instructions
Ability to be approachable, maintain composure, and possess a professional attitude
Ability to understand audience and adapt communications accordingly
Excellent presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
Power Platform Certifications: PL-900 Fundamentals, PL-200 Functional Consultant, PL-400 Developer
CIE Facilitator Certifications
Additional related technical certifications and/or familiarity with business intelligence products such as Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, Oracle Analytics, Sisense, etc.
Familiarity with concepts of Analytics, Machine Learning, Internet of Things, Business Intelligence, Databases, Data Lakes, Robotic Process Automation, Data security/governance/compliance, Data Modeling, Building a Data Strategy, Data Visualization
Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals (or higher) required upon application
Position requires up to 25% travel to customer events, trainings, conferences and partner events

The estimated pay range for this position in Colorado is $120,000 -$230,000, which includes a base salary and bonuses. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location, and therefore will vary from individual to individual. This information is provided per the Colorado Equal Pay Act. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
