The Junior Full Stack Engineer is responsible for creating user interactions on various websites and platforms, writing code optimized for mobile, and developing databases and services for functionality. The Engineer will develop modular apps for providers and facilities in Scrum. As well as create new features, and handle maintenance for the applications. You will contribute to developing new solutions while brainstorming ideas during Scrum Events through various communication outlets. Craft intuitive experiences that delight our users while accounting for performance, reliability, and maintainable code. Performs basic engineering tasks requiring the application of standard techniques and knowledge while working collaboratively with various members and teams such as Fullstack Engineers, QA, Product Designer(s), Product Manager(s), and sometimes Android/iOS Engineers in Poland and the US. Shows interest and dedication in acquiring new skills and a greater understanding of job expectations.

What You Will Do….

• Participate in managing the software development process from conception to deployment.
• Collaborating with architecting and designing software systems.
• Writing low-level and high-level code.
• Maintaining and upgrading the software following deployment.
• Modifying and testing changes to previously developed programs.
• Assisting with automated testing and providing feedback to management during the development process.
• Keeping up with technological advances to optimize their software.
• Communicating the effectiveness of emerging technologies to decision-makers.
• Identifying bottlenecks and improving software efficiency.
• Collaborating with the design team on developing micro-services.
• Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design.
• Considering security, maintenance, scalability, and more when developing.

Who You Are (Minimum Qualifications)…

• 1+ years of experience working on production apps
• Experience building and supporting multi-client REST APIs
• Experience with PHP and MySQL (experience with Laravel a plus)
• You have an innate curiosity that leads to continuous learning and discovery

• Utlizes good practices and design patterns
• Comfortable receiving feedback in the interest of self-improvement
• Some knowledge or familiarity with AWS
• Knowledge of Vue.js or other leading frontend frameworks preferred
