The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a
Receptionist / Office Assistant who is looking to work on a
permanent basis in a vibrant law firm in the
Auckland CBD .

While the role is a full-time opportunity, we will also consider reduced hours for the right candidate.

The Responsibilities

• Reception duties and customer service – meeting and greeting clients
• Client communications – answering and directing calls, dealing with enquiries and taking messages
• Administrative support – opening and closing files
• Maintenance of front of house and meeting rooms, including arranging catering for staff and clients
• Monitoring and ordering office and kitchen supplies
• Secretarial support
• Routine accounts work (training provided)

Candidates

Legal experience or progression towards completion of Bachelor of Laws is highly regarded but not essential. Candidates must have initiative and be proactive, with a positive attitude and friendly disposition. Experience with Word will be required as well as a willingness to learn other office systems. There may be scope for progression within the firm for the right person.

Attitude is everything here – you will be collaborative, flexible, open, honest and easy to interact with. You will have great attention to detail and take pride in accuracy and presentation. You will need to be happy to turn your hand to a broad range of tasks.
