Shopbene is a social shopping platform for conscious consumers — a curated marketplace where every purchase gives back. We’re creating a digital space that makes it easy (and exciting!) to shop with purpose.

We’re early-stage, building momentum, and preparing to raise our pre-seed/seed round. This is your chance to join at the ground level and shape a purpose-led tech company from the inside out.

🎯 What You’ll Do

✅ Own digital product development

– Lead or guide the design and build of our online platform (via dev team, Shopify, or no-code tools)

– Ensure a beautiful, intuitive user experience

✅ Drive marketing and growth

– Craft our digital marketing strategy (social, email, paid, SEO)

– Execute campaigns that grow our user base and community

✅ Lead our fundraising efforts

– Work closely with the founding team to prepare pitch materials, financial models, and investor outreach

– Help position Shopbene for a successful pre-seed/seed round, targeting mission-aligned investors

✅ Shape the brand and vision

– Collaborate on company strategy, partnerships, and product roadmap

– Build relationships with purpose-driven brands that align with our mission

✅ Operate like an owner

– Oversee operations and contribute to key business decisions

– Lay the groundwork for a scalable, sustainable future

🌿 You’ll Thrive Here If You Have:

• Experience building or managing digital products (e-commerce or marketplace a plus)
• A proven record of growing online communities and converting traffic to users/customers
• Startup energy: You’re resourceful, fast-moving, and wear multiple hats well
• Deep passion for sustainability, equity, and impact-led business
• Comfort and/or experience in fundraising, pitching, or working with early-stage investors

✨ Bonus: Creative/branding skills, network in impact investing, or product strategy chops

📍 Location & Commitment

• Based in New Zealand or open to remote
• Flexible on hours initially — ramping to full-time
• This is an equity-based co-founder role, with a strong pathway into the leadership team post-funding
