Why this role is important?

Basic Function

Reporting to the Manager, System Administration & Applications Support, the incumbent’s primary objectives are to respond to inbound user inquiries and to maintain data assets in SHN systems. SHN Systems include, but are not limited to, Salesforce Health Cloud. The role will include usage of third-party/custom tools including: S-Docs, S-Sign, data loader and other future integrated tools to support our patient support programs.

Nature and Scope

Primary responsibilities include responding to technical/workflow issues for users and to support maintenance of data assets in SHN systems. The Data Entry Clerk must have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines. The Business Systems Data Entry Clerk must carry out duties and responsibilities in accordance with internal policies and procedures, as well as maintaining timelines based on contractual obligations.

As the position deals with highly sensitive information, the incumbent is expected to act in a diplomatic professional manner, and maintain patient confidentiality, as per SDM Specialty Health Network’s policy and legal requirements. The Data Entry Clerk will be the first point of contact to all SHN users in all SHN systems which fall within the scope of the Business Information Systems team.

Principal Accountabilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all parties requesting assistance, ensuring that the unique needs of the individual’s requirements are met
• Respond to incoming support cases, emails or system communications from SHN staff, Physicians and Nurses regarding the use and functionality of SHN systems
• Create and maintain data assets required to support SHN Patient Support Programs using third-party/custom tools including: S-Docs, S-Sign, data loader and other future integrated tools to support our patient support programs
• Working with various business units or other members of the Business Information Systems team to complete projects and initiatives
• Meet, exceed and help establish performance metrics
• Assist and resolve application issues, including major incident, that may arise daily
• Assist with data management and application configurations
• Assist with quality control initiatives of new changes to systems
• Support with training sessions and documentation

Skills and Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience with CRM/patient management systems
• 2-5 years of experience in a Call Centre/Customer Service Management role
• Experience working with Salesforce & have Salesforce Administrator Certificate
• Strong computer skills in a Windows environment using Excel, Visio, Word and Adobe Reader
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Ability to develop and work within established business processes
• Ability to use and adapt to changing technical environments
• Ability to handle stressful situations, workloads and multitasking
