As a Creative Lead, you will be joining a large global team of experienced motion graphic artists, who are responsible for creating short-form video ads for some of our world-class, and iconic clients. To be successful you will be a confident motion graphics artist, who can take a creative brief and draw on your own inspiration to create an effective video ad. You will teach our clients how to write a best-in-class production-ready brief on our platform as well as educate them on what makes actionable revision comments. You will be a self-starter, who thrives working in a dynamic and evolving environment. A passion for working to deadlines is also a plus!
This role will be operating with our English-speaking North American market where all communication is in English. Applicants must have an expert level of English communication both written and verbal.
Responsibilities
– Deliver best-in-class service to our clients and partners through creative production support and expertise.
– Ensure tasks are delivered successfully and within committed time frames.
– Educate clients on industry creative trends, new service offerings, and best practices.
– Understand the main drivers of creative performance and clearly explain recommendations to improve results.
– Partner directly with advertisers (and their agencies when applicable) to optimize ad creative for a digital experience while building and maintaining strong client relationships.
– Support onboarding new customers onto the ShuttlerockCloud as a creative steward following a specific onboarding process to ensure they have a great first experience.
– Be the in-market translator to understand advertisers’ brand guidelines as a part of onboarding (getting to know them) and communicate them effectively to Shuttlerock’s internal production teams through robust capture of brand intelligence.
– Work alongside customer and sales teams to deliver live workshops where you produce optimized creative videos in a collaborative and engaging virtual environment (in the future these may have the opportunity to be done back in person).
– During the workshops your role will be to prepare video concepts (from a pre-submitted client brief) and conduct client research to present on the day. You’ll then make live design/ editing changes in front of the clients and partners present.
– Assist in-market customer teams with design-related questions, creative consultations, and troubleshooting creative roadblocks (urgent production matters or quick fixes).
– Collaborate with our Creative Lab’s team to pitch, direct, and complete innovative and specialty projects e.g AR (training provided if not experience in this space).
– Partner with central teams to deliver relevant feedback and ideas that enhance our content and product roadmap.
– Be a team player that supports the wider team and where there is ambiguity see opportunities to define and lead in a fast pace environment.
Ideal Capabilities & Experience
– 3+ years of experience as a motion graphic designer.
– Knowledge of digital platforms and the essentials of digital brand building through creative.
– Proficient in producing short-form motion graphic videos with a deep understanding of typography, composition, pacing, and sound design.
– Superb interpersonal & communication skills / comfortable leading calls and meetings with clients, partners, and key stakeholders. |
– Ability to collaborate with an open mind when it comes to working alongside colleagues.
– You lead with humility and empathy, respecting and learning from the perspectives of others.
– Ability to adapt your design approach in real-time in order to suit the client’s needs.
– Proactive and adaptable work ethic and attitude.
– Advanced skills in the Adobe Suite focusing on After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
– Knowledge of social media platforms both as a consumer and potentially within a brand or agency.
