How You’ll Make an Impact
- Work as a key contact with specific Siemens Energy businesses to enable them to; develop entry level talent or to cross/up skill exiting employees using Apprenticeship Standards
- Provide advice and guidance to Siemens Energy businesses in the delivery of their apprenticeship and ensure quality of the learning outcomes
- Support Siemens Energy businesses with all outsourced provision from research, through vetting, to engagement and subsequent monitoring
- Work as part of the Siemens Energy Professional Education team in line with contractual obligations by the ESFA, Ofsted, Awarding Bodies and Professional Organisations and ensure all quality assurance processes for the provision of apprenticeships at Siemens Energy are adhered to.
- Lead the Awarding Body assurance visits and sampling processes including the co-ordination of following up actions.
- Undertake the Awarding Body registration and certification activities for learners.
- Encourage best practice and promote Siemens Energy Safeguarding and Prevent policies and procedures
- Act, as required, as an assessor/internal quality assurer of qualifications offered by Siemens Energy
- Ensure effective arrangements exist for external end point assessment for all Siemens Energy apprentices, work with Siemens Energy businesses by taking the role of technical expert/quality assuring all material submitted to End Point Assessment Organisations to support high achievement rates of learners.
- Develop relationships with businesses and be responsible for learner progress, continuous improvement and monitoring data and evidence
What You Bring
- Self-driven individual that consistently takes ownership of assigned tasks and projects.
- Effectively work as part of a diverse team.
- Have an eye for detail and apply analytical skills to decision making and problem solving.
- Can understand and effectively communicate complex information, proficient in writing and IT skills including use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge and/or experience of delivery of apprenticeship programmes
- Desirable but not essential to hold a mechanical or electrical engineering qualification at L3 or above
- This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check
