What will you do?

The Security Systems Installer will have the following responsibilities within the Siemens Intelligent Infrastructure division:

• Study plans and specifications to help properly set up a construction site in collaboration with the Project Manager;
• Install, program, commission and test security systems (including video access controls, perimeter security, etc.) and the IT networks that support these technologies;
• Provide customer services and technical support for security systems, including on-call services (on rotation) and travel to the customer’s site.

What will you need to succeed?

• Vocational diploma in security systems, or equivalent;
• CCQ security systems installation trade card
• ASP construction health and safety card (or completion of a 30-hour course during personal time in order to obtain it);
• Experience in security product programming and commissioning;
• Experience in security system IT networks;
• Knowledge of MS Office;
• Resourcefulness, autonomy and team spirit;
• Customer service skills;
• Excellent knowledge of French, spoken and written;
• Basic knowledge of English, spoken and written;
• Valid driver’s licence;
• Available for occasional work outside Quebec City;
• Available to work with flexible schedules and additional hours when necessary (evenings/weekends);
• Experience with Software House Genetec and/or C-CURE video surveillance systems and software an asset;
• Fire alarm experience an asset.
