What you’ll do:

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, modify and perform preventative maintenance on all hydraulic systems, electrical units, controls, components, and related wiring with adherence to all safety regulations
• Perform work requiring extensive knowledge of electrical schematics, including electronic theory and principles
• Recognize and react to process problems in a timely matter to minimize non-conformances
• Maintain inventory of critical parts and motors, advising management of purchasing requirements
• Moving and installing existing or new equipment
• Perform tooling maintenance
• Perform preventive/routine maintenance on compressors, fork trucks, oilers, and filters
• Repair and troubleshoot 3 phase 480v and PLC and instrumentation controls.

What you’ll need to have:

• Knowledge to maintain and troubleshoot process/plant equipment in an injection and/or compression molding facility required
• Experience working on Husky, Kraus Maffei and Nissei molding machines preferred
• Semi-skilled in: work as machinist, electrician, HVAC technician, welding, plumbing preferred
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, schematics and drawings, handbooks, specifications, equipment manuals, parts lists and other written materials
• Good trouble shooting skills, ability to diagnose and complete repairs in emergencies
• Ability to take direction as well as be self-motivated and work alone under high-pressure situations
• Flexible to work weekends and overtime as needed
• Must possess attention to detail and be able to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.
• Knowledge of basic computer skills.
