We are looking for a reliable,diligent, articulate candidate to help us with reception duties at our hospital. The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a busy small animal hospital and will be comfortable communicating clearly and effectively with clients and collegues. Must be loving and very passionate for dogs and cats.

Responsibilities:

• Answer phones, greet guests, and direct calls.
• Must be respectful to Clients and pets
• Able to handle dogs and cats to assist in treatments
• check in patients on arrival and bill clients on discharge
• Cleaning and sanitizing the entire hospital
• Answer queries and requests of clients by email and telephone.
• Retail sales of food and pet products

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $16.00-$17.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Oshawa, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• Administrative experience (preferred)
• Front desk (preferred)
