Sime Darby Retail Group is proud of the suite of luxury European car brands represented by Continental Cars across the country including Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche, Ferrari, BMW, BMW Motorrad and Mini. In this busy and varied role, you will manage the strategic planning, implementation and measurement of all marketing activity for the Sime Darby Retail Group.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, increase customer engagement, and generate leads. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of marketing campaigns, events and initiatives.

Some of your day-to-day duties will include but not be limited to:

• Overseeing the success of all retail, launch, corporate, events/sponsorship and promotional activity.
• Identifying and recommending the most appropriate, effective and cost-effective marketing strategies and initiatives for maximising brand and product awareness.
• The development and maintenance of our dealership group’s CRM contact schedule from prospect through to repurchase, and conquest marketing.
• Developing and maintaining Ambassadorships and influencer activations to ensure value and return on investment is guaranteed.
• Directing and managing all media activity.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in marketing and 4 years in management – preferably from within a retail environment position for luxury brands.
• A recognised tertiary qualification in marketing/business management or similar.
• Proven application of industry specific knowledge (preferred).
• Strong relationship builder.
• Strategic capability and strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team, promoting positive work ethic and conflict resolution skills.

Due to the nature of Dealership event activities, work outside normal office hours is occasionally required, including on weekends and evenings.
