To further strengthen our commitment to a safe & sustainable future for all, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Safety & Sustainability coordinator to join our growing team.

About the role

Based in Auckland or Christchurch and reporting to the National HSE Manager, you will ensure that all relevant baseline data is collected from across the business to ensure robust and comprehensive reporting is provided and ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.

You will:

• Set up systems to ensure Safety & Sustainability data is gathered and reported on monthly, or as required.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to investigate and collect baseline data for delivery to the business
• Collaborate with the ESG Council to provide Sustainability information as required
• Collate and provide weekly and monthly Safety & Sustainability reports across Sime Darby Motor Group
• Provide detailed annual reporting and quarterly HSE regulatory Compliance monitoring reports
• Provide ad hoc HSE reporting support to Sime Darby Motor Group NZ and the broader group across Australasia and Asia, as required
• Assist with project facilitation and conduct research and analysis for reporting on these activities.

What you’ll need to bring

You will need previous knowledge and experience of Safety and Sustainability policies, procedures, and practices, along with

• Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in HSE environment, with extensive reporting responsibilities
• Experience working with highly confidential data and knowledge of the Privacy Act and HSAW Act.
• Knowledge of Power BI and Noggin an advantage
• Demonstrated experience delivering results in the HSE space.
