The Role
Transpecs, part of the larger Sime Darby Transport New Zealand Group currently has an opportunity for a positive, enthusiastic and people-oriented Store Person to join our team on a 3 month temporary basis.
This position offers the successful candidate an opportunity to join a leading NZ company, a good career path and opportunities for advancement.
What your day will include:
- Update and follow up with customers
- Processing of inwards goods
- Picking, packing and dispatching of stock with excellent accuracy
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles
- Various other warehouse related activities
What you need to be successful?
- Experience in dispatch
- Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
- Strong computer literacy
- Ability to lift up to25kgs repeatedly throughout the day
- Current forklift and reach license
- Full Class 1 driver license with F endorsement
This role will suit a stores person who has excellent verbal, written and computer skills with the attitude and ability to get the job done. The ability to work as part of a team and without supervision is also essential.
