Simons Law Office Hiring for Legal Secretary / Client Intake Job at Salem, MA Full Time

We are a boutique criminal defense law firm located in downtown Salem looking for a client intake specialist / legal secretary to fill out our team.

If you speak and write Spanish fluently that is a plus, but it is not required. The most important traits that we are seeking in a new team member is that the person is nice, hard-working, assertive and tactful, and pays attention to detail.

Position Details and Requirements
The client intake / legal secretary will be responsible for client communication, and will spend a good deal of time on the phone with potential clients, clients, courts, and opposing attorneys, so it helps if you enjoy being on the phone and talking to people. We aren’t happy unless the client is delighted.

This is an opportunity to shape our firm’s future and impact the success of our clients in a tangible way.

Your job also will include other secretarial duties, such as word processing, filing, emails, calendaring, scanning, billing, printing postage, ordering supplies, and being willing to do whatever is asked.

We are seeking a candidate to work 8am-12pm, but are willing to consider a full-time role for the right person. The pay range is $15-20/hour, depending on experience, with the potential to earn bonuses. There are no benefits included at this time.
