About our role:

Due to business growth, we have now have a fantastic 12 month fixed-term opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join our dynamic and growing New Zealand, International and Digital business. Ideally this position will be based at our Office in Auckland, but we are very open to the successful candidate being based elsewhere in New Zealand.

This role will provide key, accurate and timely financial information that supports effective commercial decision making to deliver operational excellence in the short term and the Channels strategic direction in the longer term.

In addition, the role will provide key insights on the critical drivers of supply chain performance and profitability, tracking and improvement of the Simplot New Zealand (SNZL) NPI financial process, and assistance in completion of monthly report packs.

What you will do:

• Performance Management, Budgeting and Forecasting.
• Assist in completion of monthly reporting packs (month end and demand review, SNZL & International).
• Assist in the redevelopment of the SNZL NPI template and process.
• Play an active role in the analysis of the effectiveness of logistics spend in SNZL, including identification of key drivers and opportunities for improvement
• Maintain system Masterdata to required standard where applicable
• Assistance in Trade Promotional Project

About you:

You will be a Finance professional with tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Business. You will have strong problem-solving skills and ability to understand and analyse detailed financial information and provide actionable insights. You will have strong excel and financial modelling skills and importantly have the ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
