The Opportunity → Woodlands Office Assistant
Reporting to the Woodlands Controller, the Woodlands Office Assistant will use their effective organizational and time-management skills to contribute to the overall deliverables of the Woodlands Team. Exercising considerable judgment, integrity and discretion at all times, the Woodlands Office Assistant enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
The Woodlands Office Assistant will be responsible for providing accounts payable and accounts receivable support, contractor file maintenance, and working closely with both our foresters and accountants. Based in the Sinclar Woodlands Office, you will interact with key internal and external stakeholders throughout our operations with a focus on providing assistance to both our accounting and forestry professionals with administrative duties.
As a successful candidate, you will demonstrate superior organizational skills and be highly proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite. With excellent verbal and written communication skills, you will represent the company in a professional manner. You are an individual who is self-motivated and energetic with a commitment to working collaboratively and adapting to a wide variety of tasks and functions. Goal oriented and adept at proactively solving problems, you focus on details and are passionate about achieving excellence in everything you do. The successful individual will preferably have two years combined of prior experience or education, basic accounting or bookkeeping knowledge, and knowledge of 3log LIM and Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
This role is based on full time hours (40 per week); however, we are open to discussing the possibility of reduced hours, flexible start and finish times, or compressed hours.
