Position

Sinew Management Group, LLC has an immediate opening for the position of Administrative Clerk at locations throughout Minnesota. The Administrative Clerk is responsible for administrative support services at one or more Natural Resources Conservation (NRCS) field offices. While NRCS field offices are federal installations under the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the Administrative Clerk will be an employee of MES, not the Government. This is a full-time position.

Pay Rate: $15/hour + H&W

Requirements

Successful applicants for the position of Administrative Clerk will be detail-oriented and professional, and will meet the following criteria:

• Possession of a valid driver’s license
• Proficiency in word processing
• Knowledge and experience with a variety of computer hardware and software applications, such as Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel and Access
• Ability to use e-mail and internet browsers, i.e. Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Explorer
• Knowledge and experience in the operation of small office machines, such as calculators, fax machines, scanning devices, postage meters, and copy machines
• Knowledge and experience in general office procedures, such as filing and preparing reports and spreadsheets
• Familiarity with certified mail and return-receipt mail procedures
• Skill in working with the general public
• Ability to work independently
• Possession of basic telephone skills

Although not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

• Knowledge of Arc View
• Knowledge of general agricultural and conservation programs

Formal preparation for this position is a high school diploma or equivalent.
