Responsibilities:

– Apply machine learning techniques and deep-learning techniques to address problems related to sensing, manipulation, locomotion, path planning, and optimization of robots and automation systems.
– Develop human machine interfaces involving vision, speech recognition, speaker recognition and natural language processing.
– Collaborate with industries, lead industry projects, and supervise learners in areas stated above.
– Be involved in the total development of our learners, including mentoring and career guidance.
– Develop and deliver teaching curricula, courses, and training programmes related to robotics and mechatronics.

Requirements:

The candidate should possess the following skills and experience:
– Relevant qualifications in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Systems, Computer Science or related fields.         

– At least 2 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas:
— Application of machine learning and deep learning to robotics
— Realtime control of robotics or automation systems
— Microcontroller/IoT application development
— Algorithm development, optimization, and implementation
— Robotic Operating System

– Problem solving skills, critical thinking skills, interpersonal and communication skills.
