Sinomax is currently hiring for a Production Scheduler. This role will create and maintain a strong relationship within our Production and Sales Departments to maximize product production based on current orders and future forecasts. This salaried role will pay between 55-65K annually.
The ideal candidate will have previous Production Scheduling knowledge and be well versed in SAP.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS For Production Scheduler

- Coordinates and expedites flow of material, parts and assemblies within or between departments as well as finished goods shipments in accordance with production and shipping schedule or department priorities.
- Reviews outputs weekly to ensure all required actions are taken- planned orders, expedites, de-expedite, cancels, etc.
- Monitors backorders of all assigned parts while communicating backorder information to internal departments.
- Maintains and reviews Forecasts and Actual sales for assigned products and monitors inventory levels of current stock.
- Plans production based on sales forecast current inventory levels and outstanding purchase orders and adjusts for variations that occur.
- Keeps abreast of changes affecting both supply and demand for products and materials.
- Monitors stock held in house and request process traveler when inventory levels fall below established levels.
- Reviews production schedule and verifies material required is available and approved by Quality; notifies Purchaser if material is missing or low.
- Able to evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, availability, service support, reliability and selection.
- Discusses defective goods with inspection or quality control personnel, suppliers, and others to determine the origin and take corrective action.
- Attends new product introduction meetings.
- Coordinate new product launch activities as assigned by management.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES For Production Scheduler
- A strong working knowledge and understanding of SAP
- Firm knowledge of the principles and methods of effective project management
- Skilled in the use of computer software: including but not limited to, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel and SAP
- Skilled in basic math including but not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, geometric construction, practical algebra, and metrics
- Skilled in adapting to a changing work environment, competing demands and ability to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events
- Skilled in setting priorities that move projects through efficiently to achieve customer and quality objectives
- Skilled in working independently and following through with assignments with minimal direction
- Ability to analyze costs
- Ability to multi-task while working with tight deadlines and shifting priorities
- Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
- Ability to clearly communicate and understand information in English, both orally and in writing
