Science Laboratory Technician: Part Time: Term time only

15 – 20 hours per week

We are currently seeking a laboratory technician to support our enthusiastic Science Department at Sir Edmund Hillary Collegiate Senior School. Ideal for an undergraduate student and/or experienced person interested in part-time employment with a good working knowledge of the senior science curriculum and Health and Safety in New Zealand schools and also has the following attributes:

• Skilled in preparing chemical solutions for our internal assessments
• Experience in inventory management
• Experience in sourcing, maintaining and setting up equipment and materials for experiments
• Good communication skills
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
