Siranna/Southern California Edison Hiring for Data Analyst at Rosemead, CA Full Time

This position currently requires the employee to work at the Southern California Edison office one (1) day/week (Rosemead, CA) and four 4 days/week remotely. The position is a 9-month assignment with the opportunity of being hired by Southern California Edison as a full-time employee if the candidate demonstrates knowledge, skills, and abilities.

The Data Analyst position is responsible for supporting data management across the contract management functions, including providing analytics and technical support for effective contract performance management to meet critical regulatory compliance requirements. The candidate for this position should possess data analytics experience with using databases to create macros, queries and reports, as well as solving technical database problems and recommending solutions. Responsibilities include:

· Researching, analyzing, developing, testing and implementing changes to a MS Access database.

· Troubleshooting and solving errors with MS Access database.

· Documenting technical issues, leading meetings, assisting with or creating job aides, user guides, and all types of documentation to support the business group’s needs.

· Performing data migration from multiple sources into a single data warehouse.

· Delivering training to groups of end-users on technical solutions.

· Formatting data from various sources into sophisticated queries to form reports required by the business group.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience with maintaining MS Access databases.

• Data Analytics experience performing detailed analysis, querying, investigating, and resolving problems, drawing conclusions from complex data and information.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 – $50.00 per hour
