Job Profile Summary
This role is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams for multiple business lines. The position is responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives for infrastructure and platform automation, application and infrastructure monitoring and alerting, and ensuring infrastructure compliance with security policies. The role also includes responsibility for BCP policy definition and implementation, high-level security audits, IAM policy definition and implementation closely working with the Information Security team and leading the Incident Response team as needed. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with cloud services, databases, and programming languages, along with strong leadership and team management skills. Additionally, the candidate must have experience with technology innovation and a focus on cost optimization in the AWS landscape. This role requires adaptability to a rapidly changing environment and excellent communication and mentoring abilities.
Job Description
Essential Job Functions:
Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for DevOps and Site Reliability, encompassing scalability, performance, operations and reliability improvements
Work with the Development teams to build and mature the DevOps program
Develop a strategic multi-year technical roadmap that aligns to SitusAMC core values and corporate goals
Recruiter mentor and lead a team of high performing Site Reliability Engineers and DevOps personnel
Address technical or analytical skill gaps, challenging team members to share knowledge and learn new technologies
Implement processes and lead the Incident Response team; manage critical incidents
Oversee the standardization of monitoring and alerting environments across the SRE teams
Build and mature the SitusAMC BCP program
Collaborate with senior leadership on project scoping, capacity planning and execution
Report to executive leaders on project status, key metrics and provide strategic insights
Other activities as may be assigned by your manager
Qualifications/ Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is strongly preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 15+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 2+ years in a SVP level role or external equivalent
Minimum of 15+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 10+ years in a senior leadership role
Minimum of 10+ yrs experience leading SRE/Platform/DevOps teams
Strong background in Scrum or Agile methodologies
In-depth knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation
Experience building and maturing Observability programs and associated toolsets
Experience building and executing on BCP programs
Knowledge of various related technologies like Databases, LAMP stack, .Net
Advanced knowledge of AWS and other cloud services
Experience building and managing software release management practice
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills with proven experience driving cultural change
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment

The annual full time base salary range for this role is
$200,000.00 – $250,000.00
Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
