Position Overview:

This position will be responsible for leading scrum ceremonies, organizing and motivating software development teams to deliver software that provides exceptional business value to users. A Scrum Professional with Azure DevOps is especially qualified for the business needs of this position.

Essential Job Functions:

• Drive Scrum ceremonies with the software development team and facilitate removal of any roadblocks to the development team’s work.

• Lead and coach the software development team in self organization by utilizing agile methodology and Scrum practices.

• Supporting the Product Owner, Business Analyst, and the software development team in achieving established business goals.

• Help the development team identify gaps in the agile and Scrum processes and create a plan to consistently work to improve inefficiencies.

• Work towards increasing Scrum team productivity by analyzing data and creating possible solutions.

• Collaborate with Product Owner, Technical Writers, and the software development team to ensure that technical documentation is up-to-date.

• Such other activities as may be assigned by your manager.

• Associate degree or higher from four-year college/ technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience

• At least three years related experience and/or training preferred

• Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as extensive knowledge of both agile and traditional project management principles and practices

• Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects. Agile certifications a plus: PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe

• Experience overseeing multi-function project teams with at least 10-15 team members including Developers, Business Analyst, and QA personnel

• Experience using JIRA or Azure DevOps and Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Project or similar

Qualifications/ Requirements:

• Associate degree or higher from four-year college/ technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience

This position is available in all US Remote locations as detailed in SitusAMC’s Telecommuting policy.

The pay range for this role is $80,000 to $110000 annually.

Discretionary Bonus: You may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus which may be paid annually or more frequently as determined by SAMC senior management. In general, SAMC considers the performance of the firm, the employee’s performance, his or her department’s performance, compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and internal guidelines, and external market factors in awarding bonuses. Discretionary bonuses are subject to the final approval of SAMC’s management. Employees must be actively employed by SAMC at the time the bonus is paid in order to be eligible for a bonus. Whether or not an employee receives a bonus and, if so, the amount of the bonus is at the sole discretion of SAMC management.
