The Opportunity:
SkipTheDishes, a growing global technology leader, is hiring an Executive Assistant for their CEO and others within the executive team. The business has experienced a consistent period of growth as the direct result of product innovation, market growth, M&A, increased efficiency and productivity. To continue on this trajectory, we’re searching for a highly qualified EA to work closely with our CFO.
From day one, the Executive Assistant will have an immediate impact on our strategic initiatives, working in partnership with the current C Suite overseeing program management, and communicating objectives between departments. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a business management role, with a special focus on executive-level day to day administration, advising, project communication, and business support. To be clear, this is a hands-on role and the successful candidates will be required, when needed, to support general administration of the leadership team as well as the strategic initiatives.

Objectives:
Support and manage day-to-day administrative tasks
Oversee strategic business initiatives from development through to successful execution under the guidance of senior leadership and departmental heads
sAssist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation
Review, design, and execute on project improvements
Support administration of the executive leadership team when needed
What’s On Your Plate:
Email and calendar management of CEO and other executives
Responsible for all travel coordination including alignment with all Global leadership team travel
Will have dotted-line leadership role to all other Executive Admin functions of the team
Serve the executive leadership team with strategic initiatives, program management, updates, proposals, and administration.
Oversee the strategic initiatives through collaboration with the executive leadership team senior management and department leaders, performing an array of administrative tasks from managing calendars, generating correspondence, maintaining hard copy and electronic files, planning and coordinating annual corporate meetings, and scheduling facilities
Build and develop relationships with all employees for increased efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing projects and help to define new operational strategies, working with CEO and executives on special projects
Recipe for Success:
Minimum a Degree in Business Administration or similar field
Essential – must have worked in a similar role in a growth technology business
7+ years in a Business or Executive Management, project mgmt or similar Strategy/ SR. Executive Assistant role.
Excellent communicator in written and verbal form
Someone who can listen and influence when needed
Experience with Microsoft office including powerpoint and Google Sheets and suite
Extremely versatile, dedicated to efficient productivity
Experience planning and leading successful strategic initiatives
Leadership skills and capabilities
Likes working in a dynamic environment
Strong Proactive Thinking Strategies
Problem solver
Must be based in Toronto
Proven success in a project coordination role
Comfortable with data analysis
Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communication
