In this busy role, you will efficiently and effectively coordinate workshop activities including workflow management and acting as the first point of contact to internal and external customers.
A Bit About You
Are you the type of person who remains calm under pressure when you have conflicting priorities thrown at you left, right and centre? If you excel in this type of environment this could be the role for you! You’ll already have key administration experience, ideally in an industrial or service environment and it would be beneficial if you were familiar with various trades such as electrical, mechanical, plumbing etc as you’ll be dealing with different internal departments, contractors and suppliers with trade related matters. You’ll be someone who takes a keen approach in health and safety, has good computer skills and be a bit of a go-getter; you’ll love to get amongst the action and able to successfully tackle a problem. It goes without saying that you’ll be a confident communicator and feel comfortable dealing with a range of different people along with high-end customer service skills.
About the Role
Behind the scenes, our hardworking Facilities team work across the whole business to ensure everything at SkyCity runs smoothly – think cleaning, plumbing, rigging, engineering, refrigeration, upholstery and everything in between! Our super organised Facilities Workflow Assistant will help the Workflow Supervisor in the coordination of workshop activities including workflow management and acting as the first point of contact to our internal and external stakeholders. You’ll be there at the end of the phone or behind the keyboard receiving facility related requests from across the business where you’ll be there to assist with coordinating the logistics of these jobs and making sure the right people are tasked accordingly!
