A client of SkyWater has opened up their search for a backend engineer. Our client, a privately held impact investing firm, is one of the premier groups in the southeastern US contributing to positive environment and social outcomes. They provide investment management services to institutions and individuals through mutual funds and separate accounts.

They are currently moving their codebase from a legacy system to a cutting edge platform. This team of five is looking for an experienced engineer to aid the migration to this more modern Middle Tier. This role will be highly cross functional, and will be interfacing with their trading desk, and portfolio managers.

This role is open to fully remote, and cannot support H1b sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop a REST Middle Tier to support a modern web app.
• Work closely with leadership to research, design, and develop components to drive the Middle Tier.
• Migrate their legacy code to a modern tech stack.

Desired Skills And Experience

• Must have experience developing REST APIs, C#, and SQL development.
• Experience from a fixed income, or financial company.
• Knowledge of Entity Framework, and Dev Express is highly preferred.
