Slater Slater Schulman LLP Hiring for Legal File Clerk at Beverly Hills, CA Full Time

Our national law firm is looking for a Legal File Clerk to join our California branch in Beverly Hills to sort, scan, upload and distribute incoming legal mail and other records. The File Clerk will also assist in the updating and management of our case databases as well as processing of outgoing mail.

Responsibilities:

• Draft and mail out correspondence letters
• Sort mail by department, location or category (e.g. bills, notices, personal)
• Scan and upload incoming mail to our case database
• Track mailroom supplies (e.g. stamps, envelopes, address labels)

Skills desired:

• Prior law firm or office experience
• Experience with mail sorting and postage meter machines is a plus
• Good computer skills
• Well-organized, with sharp attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good communication and literacy skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 – $26.00 per hour
