Slim Chickens Hiring for Architectural Drafter at Fayetteville, AR Full Time

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

To create, confirm and coordinate all aspects of Architectural and Civil plans creation as it relates to brand standards adherence and the continued improvement of the Slim Chickens prototype. This role also serves as a support and tracking mechanism for real estate and pre-construction to ensure correctness of construction documents produced by third-party AOR/EOR (s).

QUALIFICATIONS:

Associates Degree in Drafting, Landscape Architecture degree or 2+ years of CAD design experience

Proficient with AutoCAD/Revit

Experience working with Civil & Architectural plans and specifications

Team player with strong communication skills that is comfortable working with minimal supervision

Ability to multi-task across several projects and meet deadlines

General knowledge of Building Construction Means, Methods and Terminology

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create Architectural site plans for new store locations/ Coordinate site plans with Architects/ Engineers

Review check and completion sets for Architectural and Civil drawings for brand standard adherence

Create mockups of new store prototypes or changes in CAD or REVIT

Assist in coordination and tracking of pre-construction process as it relates to Architectural and Civil plans & permitting

Assist Architects/ Engineers with access to brand plans and specifications via Procore or Dropbox as needed

Other duties may include but are not limited to site scoping for conversion projects, 3rd party vendor plan review and coordination, store remodel plans creation and coordination, AOR/ EOR brand support, subject matter expert for Architectural/ Civil support for franchise groups

Travel: Travel time estimated to be less than 20%.
