Are you ready to take your competitive intelligence skills to the next level? We are looking for a Senior Competitive Intelligence Manager to join our high-performing product marketing team. In this role, you’ll use your deep knowledge of our customers, competitors, and the markets we’re in to create compete strategies and content, inform product direction, and identify new opportunities for the company. Your key stakeholders will include GTM teams – ensuring they are confident and equipped to sell into a competitive market; product teams – providing information to determine product investments; and the executive team – delivering market intelligence to inform overall strategy. You should be passionately curious, analytical, a natural storyteller, and a strategic thinker. You will need exceptional communication skills, technical depth, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple time-sensitive projects. Ultimately, your roll will be to create strategic competitive advantage for SmartRecruiters, and to scale the success of our GTM investments. As the Competitive Intelligence lead, you will: * Develop a broad understanding of the Talent Acquisition space and be able to identify opportunities to build and to differentiate * Conduct deep research on the market – including existing and emerging competitors – through market research, win/loss analysis, industry influencers, customer conversations, internal SME conversations, 3rd party research, etc. * Understand our sales team’s needs, and providing timely and effective enablement programs * Build, maintain, and evangelize impactful internal and external core competitive intelligence content, including narratives, presentations, battlecard documents, whitepapers etc. * Establish and lead win/loss analyses and reporting to inform product strategy, refine messaging & positioning, and develop sales enablement materials * Become the go-to person for product teams on competitor product insights; influence SmartRecruiters’ product roadmap and strategy * Collaborate closely with pre-sales & solution consultants to breakdown competitor demos; partner to build differentiating demo opportunities * 8+ years of work experience, with 5+ years in product marketing, product management, or related fields in the B2B technology space * At least 2 years of relevant experience in competitive intelligence and/or, market research * Strong technical understanding of SaaS technologies, with a genuine curiosity to keep learning * Self-starter with a team-oriented work style and an ability to work cross-functionally to get things done * Ability to run, prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision * Outstanding written and verbal presentation skills with proven record of presenting to a wide variety of audiences * Bonus: You have domain experience in HR and/or HR tech * Bonus: Competitive intelligence certification (such as CIP) SmartRecruiters is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
