The Job

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for issues related to end user computing systems and peripherals
• Provide technical support to escalate and work with the IT team to implement solutions for advanced technical issues
• Provide technical support for the implementation of preventive or improvement projects
• Proactively identify common issues, guide and create manuals to facilitate end users’ understanding
• Manage the deployment, monitoring and maintenance of end user computing systems and peripherals
• Perform assigned maintenance tasks to maintain confidentiality, integrity and availability of IT infrastructure
• Proactively maintain inventory documents of end user computing systems, peripherals and applicable software or technologies
• Keep abreast of Cyber or Information Security, Technology development and recommend adoptions as appropriate
• Assist with other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Supervisor

The Profile

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
• 1-3 years of work experience in similar capacity, ideally in the healthcare environment
• Proficient in cloud technologies such as Microsoft/Office 365, Microsoft Windows and server administration
• Certifications in Microsoft Desktop or Server Technologies, Cisco Routing and Switching, related professional certifications are preferred
• Advanced understanding and technical knowledge of end user computing, telecommunication systems, messaging, modern printers, LAN/WAN technologies, TCP/IP, protocols and routing
• Extensive experience responding to onsite service and trouble incidents
• Possess good writing and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interact well and relate to users to understand requirements and issues
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• A high degree of flexibility and the ability to positively respond to changes in work requirements and workflow
• Keen to pick up new technologies and skillsets
