The base salary range for this role is $80,000-$90,000/yr

What You’ll Do at SocialMadeSimple:

• Develop and maintain backend and web applications using Java, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, etc.
• Use JavaScript libraries and front-end frameworks to create visually appealing and responsive user interfaces.
• Work with relational SQL databases to design efficient data models and support data-driven features.
• Work with third-party APIs such as Facebook to integrate external services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to ensure the software meets high-quality standards and business requirements.
• Continuously learn and keep up-to-date with new technologies, libraries, and best practices, to improve engineering practices and bring innovation to the team.

We Are Looking For People Who:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 1+ year of experience in software development using Java, web development technologies, and front-end frameworks.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, SQL, and API integrations.
• Experience working with version control systems, server architecture, and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

It Helps If You Have:

• Knowledge of server architecture, AWS cloud infrastructure, Unix, and Apache to deploy and scale applications on cloud-based platforms.
• Knowledge of app development with Flutter to develop mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms.
