Sodexo is seeking a Vice President, Health, Safety & Environment to support our Service Operations. This is a virtual position and the ideal candidate will preferably be located in the Northeast.

As our Vice President of Health, Safety & Environment, you will be responsible for the strategic oversight of Sodexo North America’s safety programs with a focus on driving and building a zero-harm culture throughout the US and Canada. This position will have direct responsibility for supporting the business segments on defining and executing their health and safety strategy with strong focus in the US business.

More specifically, your expertise will be critical to achieve the following objectives:

• Implementation of best-in-class global, regional and country safety strategies utilizing a proactive, visionary and data-driven approach that meets and exceeds outlined goals and KPI’s.

• Thorough analysis of risks with a focus on developing strategic solutions and best practices across all markets.

• Building strategic relationships at all levels of the organization to drive results.

• Providing exceptional leadership capabilities to build and maintain a high performing, engaged and passionate team.

In addition, our selected candidate will possess the proven ability to build and develop a high performing team committed to driving results and delivering value-added service.

Location

We prefer candidates located in the Northeastern US, however, we are open to considering candidates located anywhere in the US near a major airport.

Travel

This position will require approximately 50% travel throughout the US and limited travel to Canada.

This position is targeting a starting salary in the $200K – $250K base range depending on experience and is bonus eligible.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement – Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Requirement – 10 years

Basic Functional Requirement – 10 years in business operation or a related field
