About the Role

SoftLabs is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineers to join their Technology Consulting in Sydney.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Experience working with AWS Data Management Platforms, Databricks Lake House technology and Azure Active Directory – cloud-based access management
• Able to build data CICD orchestration in DevOps (repos, project, pipelines) and Octopus Deploy (release packages)
• Experience working with AWS and a proven track record of building cloud infrastructure, including knowledge with multi/cross account deployments
• Ability to contribute and lead IT projects and work collaboratively with other IT teams to implement new cloud technologies
• Sound knowledge of AWS service offerings such as EC2, VPC, ELB/WAF, EFS, RDS, Redshift, EKS, ECS, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, Lambda, Landing Zone, Config, Guard Duty, SNS, SQS, etc
• Sound understanding of AWS security and monitoring and experience implementing best practices
• Development skills in AWS CLI, CloudFormation, YAML/JSON, Python, Bash, JavaScript is a must
• Proficient in CICD tools and technologies including Octopus, Azure DevOps, Puppet, Git, Proget and Chocolatey
• Good knowledge of Kubernetes, Containers, Terraform, GIT, Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Develop analyse trends in system performance, cost, capacity and reliability
• Experience in AWS networking and security (SAML, service policies, security groups, encryption, key management etc.)
• Should have knowledge on Windows server 2012, 2016, 2019 and Active Directory.
