We are open to remote candidates that can align their schedule to Pacific time zone working hours. Occasional travel may be a needed for team events.

Technical Must haves:

• 5+ years of building enterprise software in a team environment
• 5+ years HTML5/CSS3/Javascript (ES5/ES6). Expert proficiency in the latest specifications of each.
• 3+ VueJS and its sister technologies (Vue CLI, VueRouter, Vuex, Nuxt.js)
• 3+ years SASS
• Git version control

Have Experience with most of the following:

• 2+ year writing pixel perfect code
• 1+ year writing highly interactive frontend visualizations/interactions
• 1+ year writing Cypress tests
• 1+ year using Tailwind CSS
• 1+ year experience with TDD practices; using linters
• Be able to speak to caching considerations and have an understanding of how you might choose between caching options to solve a problem
• Enough SQL proficiency to be able to run basic queries to aid in your testing/development. You won’t be operating as a backend developer, but you’ll be well served if you can navigate a database mostly independently.

Nice to haves

• Be able to use Docker for local development
• Be able to follow a README.md to get your local dev started and run commands against it
• NoSQL experience — be able to run simple queries against a mongo database
• Experience with Segment.io

Hiring Process

• Selected candidates will be invited to schedule a 30-minute screening call
• Selected candidates will be invited to complete a 90-120m technical interview
• Selected candidates will be invited to interview with SolidProfessor team members
• Selected candidates will be invited to schedule a 30-minute culture interview
• An offer will be extended to the successful candidate

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $115,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
