Summary:

The primary function of the Scheduler is to make the most effective use of the installation crews. Consideration must be given to geography, crew capabilities, and customer needs as jobs are scheduled. Included is reconciling invoices with job completion and performing basic invoicing and accounts receivable activities.

Essential Functions:

• Coordination of installation crews to match crew capability with customer needs
• Pre-call customers to notify them of scheduled template and install dates
• Schedule both template and install dates such that our lead time commitments are maintained
• Enter and track all schedule commitments and changes in Moraware
• Generate production packets for fabrication shops
• Generate information packets for template and install crews
• Keep management informed of all incomplete installs, customer satisfaction issues, and crew performance issues
• Be able to adapt to a constantly changing environment
• Must be able to Multi-Task and communicate effectively with customers
• Preparation of customer billing
• Maintenance of aged accounts receivable

Education/Skills Required:

• Ability to communicate well, both verbally and written
• Strong customer service skills
• Detail-oriented
• Strong organizational skills
• Computer knowledge (Microsoft Word and Excel)
• Mathematical skills sufficient to calculate price, compute discounts, and tally complete invoices
• Basic accounting skills (debits and credits)
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference

Experience:

Required:

• Minimum 1 year experience interfacing with customers
• Minimum 1 year experience working in an office environment

Desired:

• Knowledge of Sage/Peachtree accounting software
• Experience working in the construction industry

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 – $25.00 per hour
