Due to the recent expansion of our team, we are excited to be recruiting to a rare vacancy in our small and friendly School Admissions team. The team follow a hybrid working pattern of working from home and team collaboration located at the Council House in Solihull town centre. As an Admissions Advisor you will deliver excellent customer service to parents and schools within the borough whilst you process applications for children who are starting school, transferring to junior or secondary school or moving into the area during the school year.

In this challenging but rewarding role you will work closely with the teams within the education department and you will develop great working relationships with the schools you work with, whilst also providing independent support and advice to guide parents through the schools admissions process.

You will need:

• GCSE English and maths (A*-C or 9-4) (or equivalent)
• To be educated to A level (or equivalent) or able to demonstrate through extended experience, the necessary knowledge to carry out the full range of duties
• Significant experience of office administration
• Interpersonal skills to deal with anxious or challenging customers sensitively
• Experience of organising your own workload
• Experience of using various Microsoft Office packages (or equivalent)
