We are excited to be recruiting to a rare vacancy in our expanding School Admissions team. The team follow a hybrid working pattern of working from home and collaborative working located at the Council House in Solihull town centre.
As Senior Admissions Officer you will support the School Admissions Team Leader in the delivery of school admissions service supporting the Council’s objective in getting the best outcomes for children and young people, particularly those who are vulnerable.
In this challenging but rewarding position, you will take a lead role in the preparation and presentation of appeals and support the Admissions Team Leader in the delivery of the annual cycle of intake applications for all appropriate rounds and in the delivery of the in-year process. You will also be required to support the delivery of independent, impartial advice and guidance and support to parents to enable them to make realistic and well-informed preferences for school places.
