As a result of the Education Redesign restructure a new and exciting development opportunity has been created for a Service Manager – Education Leadership Development role within the Education Partnerships & Skills Service.
The role is full-time, 37 hours per week.
The role will report to the Head of Education Leadership and will be instrumental in developing and maintaining evidence-based and impactful strategies and services for the delivery of strong and effective education leadership capacity over a 3-5 year time horizon.
What will I be doing?
You will work directly with trust Chief Executives, headteachers, Executive members and senior managers within the Authority, and with external partners and organisations, to develop an ambitious, stretching and impactful strategic approach to developing current and future education leaders in the county. Your objective will be to know where our best leaders are, to plan for succession, to support existing leaders to be the best that can be and to attract talent into the county.
You will manage a team, overseeing a range of leadership development disciplines, that will take existing valued support services and work with many different organisations to extend and increase the impact, focusing specifically on:
