We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Software Qualification Engineer to join our team.

Tasks required include:

• Improving system quality by identifying issues and common patterns in existing systems and developing operating procedures to address deficiencies;
• Enhancing applications in accordance with established protocols and implementing new technologies if applicable to ensure smooth operation of programs;
• Writing and maintaining test program code utilising Python script to optimise audio and movie sound technology;
• Designing test cases by following the product specification, mapping back to pre-determined criteria, recording and reporting outcomes;
• Providing assistance and support to other test engineers, following agreed procedures for further help or escalation;
• Assisting in System Integration Testing, Performance Testing, Scalability / Stress and Load Testing.

Requirements:

• Relevant bachelor degree in Information Technology and Information Systems or higher.
• 5+ years’ experience in Software Qualification Testing specialist on network audio/video products.
• Experience in coding testing, coding inspection to optimise coding efficiency.
• Experience in automation testing and Python script
• Knowledge of Communication protocols, Networking, UPnP protocol and DLNA
• Test knowledge on Audio and Movie Sound Technology
• Test knowledge on Audio/Video Receiver and Sound Bar products
• Test knowledge of Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and time management skills in project testing.
• Excellent team player and working autonomously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
