South Eastern School District Hiring for Part-time Personal Care Assistants (multiple) at Fawn Grove, PA Full Time

Salary Range: Range III, beginning of range is $15.00 per hour, hourly wage will be determined based on experience. The position works up to 181 student days plus up to three additional paid staff development days and two paid holidays (Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day). This position does qualify to be a part of the PA School Employee Retirement System. Paid sick, paid personal, and paid bereavement days are available each year.

Job Summary: Provide daily assistance to students on a one-to-one basis, typically directed by an IEP, Section 504 Agreement, or other written plan under the direction of the Administration and/or classroom teacher.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Must possess positive communication skills, organization skills and the ability to work with students and staff. Paraprofessionals are required to complete the process to be deemed “Highly Qualified” or have the equivalent of an associate degree in college credits.
