South Florida ENT Associates Hiring for Online Scheduler at Miami Lakes, FL Full Time

Job Summary/Objective:
Responsible for scheduling incoming online appointment requests in a timely manner, verify insurance benefits, enter insurance information correctly, assist with various call center duties including but not limited to; answering phones and reply to messages in an expeditious manner, route visitors in accordance with practice guidelines.

Essential Job Functions

• Manage online appointment requests from applicable dashboard application
• Respond to requests within given set of time as indicated by supervisor
• Select the correct patient medical record number consistently
• Utilize appropriate method/tool to communicate with offices and departments as necessary
• Run eligibility and verify insurance that do not verify electronically
• Verify patient demographics and Insurance
• Advise patients if deductibles or co-insurance or referrals apply to the office visit
• Answer phone calls as a backup to office call centers
• Practice and adhere to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy
• Other duties as assigned

This job operates in a hybrid/remote setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

Travel
No travel is expected for this position, however due to department needs this can vary.

Required Education and Experience

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• At least two to three of related/ front office experience preferred.
• Call Center/Customer Service experience preferred
• Must live in Dade or Broward County
