This role provides information, advice and guidance to students on all aspects of student funding and money management throughout the student lifecycle. This includes the support, distribution and allocation of University support funds and other eligible funding opportunities.

We are seeking a well-organised individual with experience of providing information, advice and guidance to young people.
You will be able to prioritise your work and maintain an eye for detail and deliver high standards of support and problem-solving to the student community at Solent University. Working to tight deadlines you will also contribute to the identification and implementation of changes and enhancements to working practices.
You will work with students who have been referred for funding support and advise on all aspects of the student funding system, state benefits and university grants, bursaries and scholarships. You will provide specialist advice and practical support including establishing eligibility to support grants and bursaries and referral to other specialist advisers when necessary. A sound knowledge of the government student funding system is essential.
An excellent communicator, you will be able to build up professional working relationships with internal colleagues and external agencies.
