Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School Hiring for Paraprofessionals at South Easton, MA Full Time
The Position: Paraprofessionals work to assist students who need additional support by using different educational strategies, technology, and materials. Paraprofessionals work in the classroom alongside the teacher under the direct supervision of the general education or special education teacher and also provide support to students during directed study periods.The Minimum Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent;
Strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a genuine interest in working with high school students;
Ability to use technology in support of student learning; or
Such alternatives to the above qualifications that the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable.
Prior Experience: Prior experience as a paraprofessional or teacher is helpful, but not required. Benefits: Paraprofessionals are eligible for the full range of employee benefits including health, dental, and life insurance, paid sick leave, state pension benefits, and college course reimbursement.
