The Opportunity
The Web Designer is an important role within our Marketing Creative team. You will report to the Art Director. You will design digital work for integrated and Nurture marketing campaigns. With us, we ask that you have thoughtful application of the university’s overall brand standards, and the ability to extend them. You will work both collaboratively with multiple departments on multiple projects, simultaneously.
You Will:
- Support creative concepts throughout the production process
- Manage, and improve, the quality of department deliverables
- Maintain responsibility for projects from creative hand-off through final delivery
- Create error-free and constructed design files
- Follow print/web quality standards and approval procedures
- Support back-up procedures to ensure archiving of digital assets
- Deliver final artwork to partners and suppliers
- Participate in creative & production meetings
- Work with Art Director and MarTech teams to develop landing pages
- Write website code with HTML, CSS & Javascript
- Produce, maintain, and modify webpages and user interfaces
- Incorporate applications, graphics, and video clips into webpages
- Create tools that enhance the user’s webpage experience
- Ensure webpages are accessible across many platforms
- Modify pages to ensure WCAG compliance
- Test webpages for ease of use, speed and other quality factors
- Fix any webpage issues or bugs that arise
What we’re Looking For:
-
HSD/GED and 3+ years of design experience
-
3+ years experience in website programming languages such as HTML, CSS, Python, and JavaScript

3+ years experience with Macintosh platform

3+ years experience working in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator) and Figma
